Payment terms
The manufacturer's documents give an example of splitting the payment into 20%, 60% and 20%. This ratio is not automatically a binding iqmodul offer. Specific maturity and conditions are determined by the contract.
- The first part confirms the order and the start of preparation.
- The next part follows on from the agreed stage of production.
- The final payment is linked to completion and the agreed handover or dispatch conditions.
Transport to the plot
The finished modules are transported by a specialized carrier. The method of transport, insurance and responsibility for individual steps need to be clarified in the offer. Transport is not automatically included in the price of the house.
We determine the date of production, transport and assembly according to the model, equipment, workload of the manufacturer and the readiness of the land. The binding schedule will be part of the specific offer and contract.
Cost of transport and crane
The calculation depends on the dimensions and weight of the modules, the distance, the arrival route and the unloading conditions. The crane, any escort and the preparation of its site are assessed separately.
What to check on the driveway
- Load-bearing capacity and accessibility of the access road.
- Entrance widths, bends and room for manoeuvring.
- Overhead obstructions: power lines, branches, bridges and gates.
- Space for vehicles and safe positioning of the crane.
In the original documents of the manufacturer, an approximate arrival width of 4 m, a height of 4.5 m and a vehicle length of 11 m appear. These values do not replace the assessment of the specific transport by the carrier.
Foundations and site preparation
The house needs foundations designed for its structure and site conditions. Pile foundations are one option. The design will determine the appropriate solution based on the ground conditions, loads and utility connections.
Before arrival, the area must be prepared, obstacles removed and the connection of engineering networks solved. Heights, dimensions and connection points must correspond to the installation documentation.
Assembly procedure
- Checking the readiness of the site and foundations.
- Unloading and positioning the modules by crane.
- Joining the structures and finishing the joints.
- Connecting utilities and technical systems.
- Inspection, completion and handover of the house.
We will confirm the scope of work of the supplier and the customer in advance. The length of assembly depends on the number of modules, access to the land and the specific project.
